does any one like the new internet exployer.

Ok I think I found a cab in the nue thread that someone else found but ill upload it here to just in case. Seems to work with most of everybody report here if it doesn't to see if we can fix it.

The only one I can think of is IE Mobile 6, but it isn't out yet. You can see it on an emulator though.

Well, first the screen size is for VGA, and changing the settings doesn't hold after soft reset, so that sucks. Also, it doesn't seem to want to show highlighted/selected links.

However, on the speed, I have noticed that if I tap the screen a couple of times while it appears to be slow-loading, it immediately finishes loading and appears. I think this is a VGA/QVGA issue as well, so I hope someone will get their hands on the right resolution version soon.

If not for these three issues, which may all be the same issue, I like it.

the new kitchen rom has ie6 and it seems really slow but it does have some good features. havent played with it much..

i cant see myself going back to pie while opera skyfire and soon firefox are available... yuck

I HATE it. The 20931 build has it. I can't stand it because the TCPMP with FLash Player pulgin won't work right. I disable the VideoLoader pop-up menu to avoid the "can't find PIE error" but then it loads video and still tries to load the page. It is slow and just soooo clunky. I ended up going back to my previous 20748 ROM. It rocks!

So anyways, no , I hate the "new PIE"...

The features are better, but it is even slower. Stick with Skyfire or Opera Mini.

Yeah. Gave up my registry hunting and installed that cab. Single column is back and it seems much snappier again.
I was holding out in the hopes that there was a setting waiting to be discovered. Oh well. New one looked nice - IMO, it was just too slow and the usability suffered.

Depends. If you try the NueROM or the latest kitchen, it it alread in there. Take it for a test drive and decide if you like it. The sites you visit regularly on the phone will be the big determining factor. I hit forums while I am mobile, and they were terrible using IE6Mobile. Otherwise, it sure looks nice - like the TP browser.

The cab in the OP is the old PIE6.

I browse PPCgeeks, xda and sprintusers(SLOW LOADING). If you say it's slow then I'll stay away for right now. I feel that my browsing experience on the pro is slower than on my mogul.

You can still flash to a new rom and if it has the new pie in it just use the cab to fix it. Im working on my own rom right now that wont have it so its up to you.

Thank you for the cab I use LogMeIn and have just updated to a new rom using 20931 and pie 6 and logmein would not work, thanks.

That. I found some webapps I use at work won't play nice with PIE but DID work with the IE6Mobile.

Since my job isn't paying for my Mogul, too bad. IE6M gotta go. (for now)
