HELP Continuos Boot Screen
 

Ok I have unlocked my mogul using nueSPL2.47 and DCD 3.26 Rom. This has been working flawlessly for 3months now. All of a sudden this morning my phone is not working correctly so I power cycle it, Soft reset. It goes directly into bootloader mode without me pressing anything. I can not get it out of bootloader mode. I removed the battery for some time replace it and power up still goes into bootloader screen. So i decide to reflash using no2chem nueRom M-Titan 201 rom. This flashes from my sd card completes successfully but then phone reboots into bootloader mode. I can not figure this out anyone no why this is happening?? I dont want to buy a new phone. but if have to does anyone recomend the HTC Touch Pro over the Mogul?

No worries , I could not fix it and I needed a phone so i got the touch pro.

keep Mogul, semd touch pro here.

If it won't boot when you flash stock, it's hosed.

Yes The Touch Pro, although fast, sucks. i dont like the smaller screen and the non user friendly directional pad or touch flo. So reflashed mogul with stock rom and it works again. I returned the touch Pro and now am going to reflash mogul with custom rom.

He didn't even try flashing the stock rom. You need to attempt that first...don't try flashing nuerom-m especially since that's not even an "official" release. Download the stock rom off htc's website and try flashing that. If you can get it into the bootloader screen just plug it in and try flashing it that way...i've been in your same position before but make sure you try everything before going out and wasting your money because you think it's bricked...it take a lot to brick one of these phones.

Yes I know i did everything but flash stock rom partly because I was in a panic without a phone and also just wasnt thorough in my trouble shooting. Anyway I got it back to nuerom-m and returned that piece of crap Touch Pro. Another problem I noticed even before it crashed on me is that it no longer syncs with my pc. I have vista ultimate with wmdc 6.1 but nothing only charges off the usb cable. This sucks because I can not use internet connection sharing either. Is there a new driver or some reg tweak to get this to sync with WMDC again. i have even tried my other vista pc as well no dice.

I had nothing but trouble with Vista and upgraded to XP and back to ActiveSync. As long as you are back to the Mogul you might as well stick with a classic OS. I have a lot of podcasts that refresh on a daily basis and WMDC never worked right, but I have no real problems with the current version of AS. Also with AS you can trweak the registry and reset... try that in Vista and WMDC... I tried it for 14 months before I gave up.

PS If you do not have the top end Ultimate Vista you can reinstall WMDC... when you pay the top price you no longer can get a fresh reinstall... you get to reinstall the whole OS... if you are facing that, just go to XP.

if it's not working on multiple pc's, this might be indicative of an issue with the phone/rom you are running, I have vista x64, and i386 on two different machines, and have never had issues with wmdc and getting connected. Well, almost no issues, now and then I have to open task manager and kill the microsoft sync sumthinerother and wmdc, then relaunch wmdc via the green globe shortcut, that gets my connectivity back usually. if that fails, a reboot solves all. if all else fails, and you cant get wmdc to connect, like suggested earlier, try a stock rom and see if all is well, then you can rule out hardware issues, and concentrate on software. If it still won't do anything using a stock rom, might be time to look at a replacement.
