Backup Verizon Stock ROM & EPST
 

Can someone point me to the correct instructions to backing up your own Verizon rom before making changes/upgrades on my xv6800?.

I assume for the ROM I need to unlock with Coke unlocker or something first ???? and then what do I use to actually dump the rom?

As for the EPST information, where is this stored as I want to copy this over in the event of loss.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the epst is in the windows directory jsut search for it...as for a backup of the rom u do not need to do a rom dump thats alot more confusing then a beginner needs you can get copies of it on the site just search around for it

Thanks for the advise.

Is there any issue with copying an old EPST over another one on my replacement phone after I update it? I do not want to change the hex or anything and have a conflict so I just want to make sure this can be done safely.
