Changed Alltel Titan to Verizon... help...
 

Hi guys,

I just flashed my buddies old Alltel PPC6800 to Verizon. I used Olipro 2.40 and am running VZW upgraded ROM from HTC's website. I have never done a VZW phone before, just Sprint. I am left with a few problems.

Got *228 to work, it programmed in the MDN and MSID for me. I loaded a verizon prl from corolada.

Unforuntately, I'm still stuck with a roaming triangle. My network says Alltel Extended, and I have no idea.

First, what do I have to do to get rid of the roam triangle? I tried both option of *228 and tried *22899. Triangle remains. I believe the Home SYSID for where I am on Verizon is 119, is there a way I can check in the phone to see what SYSID I'm registered on?

Also, how do I get internet to work? Do I have to call Verizon and get the AKEY settings and user name and password from them? PLLLEEEAAASE help my coworker is kinda frustrated with me.

you need the vzn carrier .cab as well as calling vzn and having the ESN added to there DMD. once you activate it you will need to call for an AKEY im sure and then do the OTA programming opt 3 then go back and do #2.
