Nuerom causing a loud buzz when getting a second call?
 

When I get a second call (while already on one)...the soft tone kicks in and it's followed by a series of loud alarm buzzing type noise until the second soft beep...anyone experience this? Anyone know what can be done?

ha! you've been bugged!!! lol, j/k it's NOT a nuerom problem, I've had it on the latest sprint rom too. and I'm not sure what causes it, but I sometimes get that as well. I've even gotten it when a friend w/ verizon was over she got a txt while I was on the phone, and modem tones started comming though my ear peice.. the other party couldn't hear, just me.

OH NOES!!1!1!!1!111 They're on to me!...haha, yeah, it's just annoying when you hear BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ while the other person is trying to talk.

I am experiencing this as well. Not sure when it started, but it was pretty recently, and its been a long time since I flashed a ROM.

I'm pretty sure this is from a epst setting... I recently screwed up my phones in an wreck, so I'm currently sporting the sprint 3.56 roms. still fully tweeking to my liking, so when(if) I run into this again I hopefully will be able to narrow it down some more..

It is the phone dialer that you are using. Download the big button dialer or some other dialer and it should go away. I cook my own Jade OEM dialer into my NueRom and have no problems.. I am not sure if you are using the kitchen or just No2chem's precooked. If you are cookin' use the attached Jade OEM dialer. No annoying call waiting buzz sound. I also have a reg fix for it, I just forgot, it has to do with a midi file for the call waiting sound. DCD kitchen and older roms had this issue a while back. If I can find the fix I will post it. In the meanwhile if you want to recook try my oem.


*********Update***********

Download the call waiting attachment and extract it. First try to import the registry file I provided and then soft reset via software soft reset like psshutxp, not stylus reset. If you use your stylus it won't stick. If it still does not work copy the callwait.mid and callwait.wav to the windows root and overwrite the ones in rom with resco/total commander and software soft reset. This should fix the issue. If not please let me know and I will dig further into it for you.

Damn it, I wonder what it could be, in the reg. I ran a program called "Advanced Configuration Tool" and I think that's what might have done it. Either that, or something else. I can't imagine it being the dialer only because it started doing it after having flashed the phone for a long while, it did it out of the blue. I'll try anything at this point, because it's gotten REALLY annoying lately.

OT: just noticed the signature, why did you go back to the Titan from the pro? just curious.

Battery life on the TP is garbage. I only got four hours out of it no matter how much I hacked it.
