Mogul Resetting / Stuck at Olipro 1.20
 

I was trying to install a custom rom to my mogul that i think required Olipro 2.40. Turns out i only had 1.20 & now whenever it boots it just restarts over & over. Since i can't run any relocker or olipro 2.40, all i can do is try reflashing roms or putting items on the SD card. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to upgrade to olipro 2.40 & a rom? I've done it no problem before, but now, like i said, i'm stuck in a boot loop.

Is there an NBH of the relocker than i can put on my SD card & the update to 2.40? I had the two files (they run as batch files which require me to have an avtivesync connection which i cannot get). but neither of them upgraded me to 2.40.

~Thank you so much in advance. I'm just really frustrated after trying so many differnt things. My phone isn't bricked, correct? i can stop this boot loop? I've searched around but couldn't find any solution's to my problem.

Just intall official ROM!
It will do the job!

I tried editing my post last night but it wouldn't let me:

I tried to update with the official rom three times now, but when it gets to 11% my phone shuts off, reboots to the bootloader & the upgrade does not resume. Can i open the exe of the offical update, take the NBH, rename it & put it on my sd card to upgrade?

Everytime i try to edit, i type it up & won't post, so i'll have to double post:

I extracted the RUU_sign.nbh from the official exe update, renamed it to TITAIMG.nbh, put it on my sd card, it starts to upgrade, says:

BOOTLOADER - OK
SPLASH1 - OK
SPLASH2 - OK
EXTROM - OK

OS -

The progress bar starts to go up, then at the top i get red text saying "00018003 TITAIMG.nbh - FAIL"
& at the bottom "Update Terminate // UPDATE FAIL"

Please help =(

When i try through the RUU it gets to 11%, my phone restarts & the update stops.

Hard Reset. During the initial setup, the phone does not reset due to bootloader incompatibility, and while at the calibration screen you can establish the activesync connection necessary to flash Olipro 2.40

I did the hard reset, but when it boots, it goes straight to the bootloader, not to windows mobile.

EDIT: Is there a version of the Relocker i can put on the sd card & run? Then another one for olipro 2.40, & finally flash a working rom? Or is none of this possible with the way my phone is?

Find the exit bootloader program (search stuck in bootloader.) There is a relocker that runs from the sd card, but you need to run jumpspl from within windows mobile first, so at that point you might as well have just used the ruu. Exit bootloader is a simple program that will force your phone back in to windows, and then when you get to the calibrate screen, don't press ****, just plug it in to the computer, and as soon as activesync turns green, spl 2.40 that *****.

Thanks everyone, i got my Mogul working again. After a hell of alot of flashing it's up & running. Not sure if it would be helpful for me to post exactly what i did incase other people have the same problem? If not, i just wanted to let everyone know it's working now :mrgreen:
