DMROUTER.EXE on DCD rom... no go!
 

Hi, ive tried evrything... carrier cab ( at least that made my EPST work ) but the dmrouter nothing! It actually opens the DMrouter, but TX and RX are always zero. I copied the dmrouter.exe from a friends phone to mine ( different version... ) and nothing. The drivers on my XP computer are correct, because i used it right before I flash DCD 3.2.6. It actually recognizes my phone as HTC diagnostic port. ( COM 16 ) , i tried a different driver too ( Quallcomm diagnostic ) , different port numbers too. QPST does not recognize mine. And it does recognize my wife's mogul. what to do?

PS: It only opens my DMrouter.exe by using nOpen and running dmrouter.exe / DIAG

I can confirm its not there, but I am still watching dcd's thread for a fix.

I believe I was on 3.3.4...the latest one... and used the QPST program the other day. It worked just fine when I dialed the codes to pull up the DMROUTER app.

I have the same problem, I have been suspecting that the USB-to-PC app that pops up a question asking what to do when you connect via USB could be the problem. I sadly have no solution. Reflashing to nueROM for example works file.

I just tried the dial codes again, and got it to run just fine. I dialed ##3424 send without the # on the end. I could have sworn that i even tried the run option a week ago, but for some reason it works now. I can even find dmrouter.exe in the windows folder now. Interesting.

goto your windows directory and find dmrouter.exe click and hold on it ..select parameter then enter /DIAG


use total commander, resco explorer or gsfinder to open it with
