If I click on those, in the main screen the OS says WM6.1 and is grayed out so I cant change it to 6.5. How do I get to 6.5? thanks...
that's just cosmetic, it's still building a 6.5 rom, but buildos has not been updated to see it as such. don't worry about what it says there

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

So I've gone through several itterations of 21501 and noticed that when I used the manilla/iPhone styled dialers...it was dog slow...notifications painted slow, etc... and on calls, the device would freeze if I had to use the keypad to enter prompts.

So I went to the touch dialer and everything is faster...runs like a champ. Thanks!!

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

Updating now again since there are new OEM's. When this came out I couldn't get a kitchen burnt rom to work. It would freeze on the 2nd flash screen like the last 6.1 build would do. Which is why I haven't been using it. I have my custom 6.1 rom on.

What sizes you guys lookin at? With Mem Maid installed I can get it cleaned up at around 22mb... thats with no dialers, no comm manager, bassicly no software installed at all, software I like. My custom 6.1 rom of the newest build, I can get running at 23mb with diallers, Manila2D, manila comm manager, S2U2 and the stuff Manila needs... So I guess WM6.5 is pretty bulky.

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

Just installed my own rom... Still no go. Freezes on 2nd Splash. I had this same issue with the last 6.1 build... but that got fixed with a fix.

I had the same thing going on. What worked for me was to SEVERELY limit the number of OEMs I cooked into the ROM. I read somewhere that this base is significantly larger than the 6.1 base, so that may have something to do with it.

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

I even try to just do a build with nothing ... Freezes on second splash. However the 6.5 RC1 rom works fine for me... Its just bulky and bare.

Re: WM6.5 build 21501 kitchen

Got it working! Had to reinstall windows, and redo all the build os stuff... but it works. I also didn't download any other builds, just the newest. Got 6.5 working with Manila2D, HTC YouTube, TV Guide, iContact and S2U2.

Wish I could somehow delete Google Maps, Manila 2D Installed it... I wanna just uninstall it and reinstall it on a different drive... Save me 3mb!
