Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

I don't know why but after reading through all the posts from this thread, I discovered that other people were experiencing lag in their messaging as well. I never had this before however, kinda freakin me out. Plus, I'm just the Touchflo 2D dialer and have never had lag like this before. Is there a fix for both.

I've had major lag on both a 6800 and 6900 when using the vibrate-when-dialing part cooked into my rom. Removing it fixed that for me.

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

WTF!!! This morning I tried to trouble shoot and remove some things from the build to see where the problem was. As a disappointing result, my phone has lagged badly on phone calls and text messaging. I just got home from work and now I plan to go back to 755 until I or someone can assess the issues and correct them. Other than that Manila 2D theme scrolls through very quickly. I'm sure it's a great rom but it's just these two issues that have bugged the hell out of me...

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

My phone seems to have less of a lag than it did on 755. Been working better for me. I wonder if this is a result of one of the SIPS.

How do you mean Medic? What are talking about? I just uploaded the 755 and it seems more stable than the 924 BUT there is still a lag in making phone calls and in text messaging. I'm just using the same Touchflo 2D Dialer that I've been using the past few builds. The only thing that I can think of that I did different is that I selected the new SQL 3.5 and that's about it.

924 is a dog, I had the same lag, but with 931 speed is great now.

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

I"m sorry Outback I meant to say 931. I've built 4 roms and all four are sluggish and lag badly on making calls and answering the phone. During texting, I could type and the cursor has to catch up to whatever it is I typed. Can you help me?!!

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

Ok, last night I built the rom on 755 and it was extremely faster then the other roms that I built but it was still sluggish and lagged. This morning I'm a build without SQL 3.5 and see, first I'll build the 755 and then the 931. Here goes...

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

I saw the new update for the new rom and I built one up last night and I noticed that if I do soft reset, the Manilla 2D takes forever to pop up and it shows that I have only 55% of memory. After a couple of minutes Manilla pops up and it shows that that I have about 72-73% of memory.

I used the same selections when the kitchen came out last week. When I did it last week it went fine. Only thing is that my hard buttons was not working like IE and camera buttons. I wanted to know if it just me or anybody noticed the same thing when the updated 20931 came out.
