Quick question...
 

I have read all the stickies first off here in HTC Titan Upgrades. I have a Sprint Mogul on CRICKET (hence its already flashed) i have made calls and used internet and sent text, all i want to do is fix the rom get a new rom for a new look/feel and hope that everything works on that rom unlike this one.. Well i read that i dont have to find a new radio and so forth since it already works on crickets network, i just want to use VetVito's Sexier Mobile (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=18836) to see if everything works on my phone cus i have yet to see mms work and some other things... My basic question is how do i go about doing this? I have the exe file already downloaded and its ready to go do i just transfer it to my phone and run it? also do i have to uninstall this rom before i install that one? can anyone please help me i would greatly appreciate it, i am trying to learn by myself but sometimes somethings dont make sense or aren't 100% clear..

You dot uninstall a ROM, You simply "flash" or load the next ROM over the previous one. The .exe you do not transfer to your phone but leave on your PC and connect your phone via ActiveSync and then run the .exe and it should run the RUU (Rom Update Utility) and load the new ROM.

It does appear to be a vouge rom. but i love the hulk homer bustin through the messaging page... now to figure out how that's done.

no guys it's a rom for the mogul/titan (he still had these up from when he left ppcgeeks and moved to xda and those roms are for the vogue)and it was very popular and still may be with some who still use it...i had the blue pill and loved it awhile ago but everything does work Sosi just make sure that you download the one that's for Cricket:mrgreen:

thanks i did download BLACK PILL and everything but mms seems to work, the phone is actually WAY faster, he said to use Funambol for mms/full email? well i have it for full email but no where does it say i can use it for mms??? any help on that??


i sent text messages, i used my phone, took pictures, played music, so everything does work well, hell i even set the gps and downloaded google maps again :D so i do like it and will look for "newer" upgrades but in the meantime can anyone help me with mms on CRICKET??? (ever since i have had this phone i never have sent/recieved mms before so it would be very nice lol) thanks again guys quick help easy answer and i got it done :) i really love PPC!!!

badazchick i did everything that was said and im still unable to send/recieve mms? is there something new that i might not be doing, also i had a question if you got skyfire working or know if it is working on cricket using all the basic cricket set up (i have working internet EVDO with opera mini/internet explorer)... i will search around for everything im asking again and if i find anything i will edit this post :) thank you for your help so far its been great!!! i really do appreciate it!

ok install the cab in this file(thanks CRWinger) and everytime you use internet explorer and you want to send or receive pics or vids press the envelope key...there's a stirng that IE leaves in the registry that messes with the mms but this cab helps..let me know if it works for ya:mrgreen:
