Never tried that ROM. My read on that it's like a memory management or maybe more accurately 'swappable memory exclusion'? Swapping in memory in and out for the camera mode only. Not sure the benefit since my DCD 3.2.6 has plenty of memory with the camera on.

Can you enlighten me on the benefit?

1. Downloading DCD 3.3.4. Does anyone know if this includes the WM 6.1 POP3 patch as well? [Post install: Yes, it does!]

2. Someone posted a note about an offical Alltel Titan Radio over at XDA and I compared DCD's radio using NBHExtract and looking at Alltel's 3.45.50 Radio... can Alltel's official radio work on Sprint?

Post install of 3.3.4 thoughts:
1. Looks like this has the WM patch along with a new updated 'Contacts' applet, and this is the fastest DCD that I've used.

2. The keyboard types in CAPSLOCK when the CAPS is off, when you turn CAPS on it reverts to lower case. Same is reversed for the Shift key on the keyboard.

I still would like to test that Alltel 3.42.50 radio that was officially released as I think DCD's is a port from vogue and I never could get good locks or good bars with his .50 version.

I highly recommend 3.3.4 so far.... amazing!

nue & dcd have about the same amount of free mem at boot if you're using the "low mem camera enabled" mode in nue.

If you use the "high mem, camera disabled" mode of nue, you get 6-8 more MB of free mem however. I have run both ROM's extensively & I stick with nue now.

ok so the only thing i've found with my setup that doesn't play nice with 3.3.4 is dcnoinfo or whatever its called, that hides the soft keys. I know there's another out there, but i don't know the name. can someone lend a hand. meanwhile I'm gonna go out searchin, may be a wild goose chase, we'll find out.

Edit: Well after installing nuenobar, it works but with the theme i was using it leave a big black void, if i set a pic as the background it repeats the top of the pic at the bottom. Any other suggestions?

not sure about the compatibility, but is that a GPS enabled radio? I thought they began with 3. I could be wrong though

Can anyone explain how to get picture mail working for verizon users with this rom.

Thanks....i searched and dowmloaed Arcsoft... dcd carrier cab. Message gets saved in the outbox...does not send.
