I can't figure it out! Which available rom is the fastest/ most reponsive?
 

Hey guys, I've been trying to track down the most responsive rom available for the mogul. My biggest gripe with the mogul is lag.

JD's latest is very fast, but how does it compare to nue kernel rom or any of the others?
Who wins when it comes to speed?

dcd 3.2.6 is as fast any any IMHO.

Tried em all and JD's is by far the fastest.....

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but in what way is that ROM faster than dcd's latest??

I have two verizon XV6800's that I try all sorts of ROMs on. I am running dcd 3.2.6 on one & nue3 on the other right now.

I haven't tried JD's, but I'm game. Is there a vzw version I can try out??

yea give it a shot....you will see.....I ran DCD's but I most definitely prefer JD's for speed....although I have not done any extensive testing...I always base it off how quick the Windows folder opens....JD's is instantly....

I'm actually flashing it right now.

I have two Titans sitting here, one is running nue3 & the other dcd 3.2.6

I am reflashing the dcd system, this will be interesting.

Let me know what you think....maybe it is a placebo effect....but I do know the Windows folder does open quicker....

Nuerom is too buggy for me right now....I need consistency for work....I mainly use my phone for work....

I actually find the latest nue3 is not buggy at all.

I use my phone for work also, that's why I have two of them (I only activate one at a time & then the other is my "test bed")

I was never really planning to run nue on my work phone, but it was running so well on the 2nd phone I decided to give it a shot.

I have been using the nue3 system for a few weeks now & have had no problems at all & I use a TON of programs. I have MSVC running at startup & working perfectly with BT. I run SlingMobile, MobileShell with greatball's Diamond theme, Wisbar adv3 etc etc etc & it's running super.

I love being able to shut of the POS camera & gain 6MB of free mem. I don't actually find that nue is any faster than the other ROMs like dcd however.
