remove OEM from kitchen
I have several OEMs I've made I want to remove from the kitchen. I've deleted them but get an error saying they aren't there when I run buildos. I've uninstalled buildos, deleted the files and reinstalled yet they still show as an option in the kitchen. How do I get rid of them completely? I've tried building a rom and just not selecting them yet I get an error saying they aren't there and buildos won't continue... even though they aren't selected. I'm so frustrated! thanks!

Re: remove OEM from kitchen
Sounds like they are referenced in your selections.txt file:
C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Projects |

Re: remove OEM from kitchen
What OS are you running ion your computer? Are there any other error messages? I have had to unselect oem's and click the save button and try to rebuild a rom before. I use Vista and it needs a few tricks to make everything kosher sometimes.

Re: remove OEM from kitchen
They are probably in one of the system archives in the option.xml file. Look in there for an xml command of <Require>GUID</Require>. Depends on what you removed, I haven't looked at the titan kitchen, but let me know what sys and what ya removed and I can barooouse through it...

Re: remove OEM from kitchen
ok so I finally got it to work! I uninstalled buildos.exe, went into program files and deleted the folder ppckitchen.org. Then I went to start and did a search there for ppckitchen.org and deleted everything associated with it. emptied recycle bin and reinstalled. no more errors! (running Vista)

Re: remove OEM from kitchen
I have had this problem also but it is related to files being ghosted on the system, well in reality it is a feature in vista ultimate I think that creates a shadow copy (volume shadow copy) if you see a selection on the menu bar that says something about compatibility files and click that you will see where the files are ghosted. Took me forever to figure that one out usualy deleting them in that second version of the directory will fix things also but not always. LOL so thank Microsoft for that feature.
