TITAN loading problem?
Hey everyone,
I was trying to add radio back onto to my VZ XV6800, I followed the procedure. 1. unlock, I used Olipro 2.40. It showed up correctly in the Boot screen. 2. Tried to load the new radio ROM, TITAN 3.42.40 After loading I noticed the radio version had not changed from 1.30.60. ??? Not sure but I had a radio running at one time I believe it was 3.27.XX which I removed when trying to fall back to OEM. Practicing in case I needed to take the phone back to VZ. ](*,) So I am currently running ROM 2.09.605.8 (8/3/2007). With Radio 1.30.60. The phone works like it did out of the box, except no GPS. I think I'm missing a step after having had an active radio on the phone and then removing it but I couldn't find any info after looking for hours. Any help would be awesome. I wanted to install 3.42.40 radio with DCD 3.2.6 if this is the best configuration for VZ XV6800. Thanks in advance for any help. Doobie. :headbang: |
Re: TITAN loading problem?
You won't need to go to Verizon to fix it. Did you use the SD card method to flash it?

Re: TITAN loading problem?
No, I have not had any luck w/ the SD method, I've been using the blank RUU method. I have a standard 2GB SD that I formatted correctly according to the SD process, I extract the .nbh file to the card after formatting and reboot but the gray loading screen eventually goes away and the unit says failed to load. Like I said the phone looks to have the base Radio and OS ROMS in it, I checked it aginst my fiance phone that has not been flashed yet anf the ROM numbers match. It's like I can unlock the phone and see the Olipro 2.40 at the boot screen bur after that any time I try to load a file be it a radio or OS the device only sees the 2.0.9 ROM when the RUU program runs.
Thanks guys for the great tech help. I appreciate it. Doobie:headbang: |
Re: TITAN loading problem?
Try reformating the card again in fat32 format then place the TITIAMG.NBH file on it and then try flashing. I have noticed when I flash i have to sometimes reformat the card or i get an error as well not sure why just do. Hope this helps

Re: TITAN loading problem?
I have both a 2gb and 512mb SD card and I got better luck using the 512mb card formatted to FAT32.
Also, I found the card has to be in the phone BEFORE you launch the boot screen, otherwise I would get similar errors. |
