Manilla 2D Portrait...
 

periodically whilst in landscape using the Manilla 2D Today plugin, my device switches to portrait. I'll have to slide close then reopen for landscape to come up! anyone else notice this?

Yep, one of many factors that forced me to switch back to SPB Mobile Shell. Also how it would randomly pop up, making my current application inaccessible even via the task manager (using TomTom with it was a pain), and it would close applications on me quite a bit. That combined with its relatively limited functionality killed it for me. Too bad, because the interface is slick and it's great to show off with.

The novelty is wearing off for me as well with Manilla 2d. I might go back to SPB.

I went back to Ultimate Launcher for all the same reasons.

Manilla2D is great eye candy & fun to play with, but it really drastically limits the usefulness of the device & doesn't allow you to use the awesome weather panel.

On the today screen yes but not as a part of Mobile Shell.

Landscape is being worked on for tf2d and will probably be ready sometime soon. Also, you can use a program like Second Today to display WP and other today plugins.

thanks blazingwolf, but i didnt huderstand "tf2d", is the landscape issue being worked on for Manilla 2d. if so how will i get the update as i cook it in with BuildOS.

Touchflo2D (tf2d) = the actual name of this program. :)

A new OEM will probably be created. If not, you can add the new files in over the top of your ROM.
