No Radio... yes i searched
I've got a Titan with:
Bootloader: SPL-2.40.Olipro CPLD-9 Radio: Titan_Radio_ROM_3[1].42.30 Rom: I ran RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.35.651.2_RS_TITAN_3.35.04_4 350H_SPCS_AM_Ship.exe I unlocked first, ran the radio update from pc connected to phone, loaded a kitchen custom rom, found an microSD card so i ran the radio udate to 3.42.30) I have gone through 8 pages of "no radio" thread and havent found a solid answer to my problems except that i should just start flashing away trying to fix it. I was going to restore to factory by following the directions here: Verizon - Restoring your xv6800 to a Stock Verizon ROM http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=21161 Is this my best option or is there another way? Thanks in advance for your help |
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Forgot to mention i get the HTC Titan spash then the next HTC screen has No Radio in red....
|
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Try flashing again through the SD card?
|
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
multiple times... i remove the battery, insert card, turn on phone, put in bootloader mode, follow onscreen directions, soft reset, and still get the "No Radio"... I tried loading the newest sprint rom and then flashing through the SD card... nothing... tried a kitchen rom i made then flashing radio through SD card... nothing... the OS roms load but everytime i get "No Radio"...
Question for you... Is the Olipro 2.40 program an unlocker and a Bootloader upgrade? I never ran an actual bootloader upgrade... might be my stupidity but i assumed that was a bootloader upgrade Would you suggest trying to downgrade to stock Verizon rom? Can i change my bootloader to the nueSPL 2.47 without problems or at all i guess? Just looking for suggestions... I wont hold it against you if it doesnt work ;) |
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
yea thats your problem. upgrade to olipro 2.4 then flash the radio then upgrade to nuespl 2.47
|
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Thanks.. I'll give that a try....
|
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
dohh...... I cant upgrade to nuespl 2.47 because from what i understand, you have to run it from the device in order to get the file on the SD card... ill do some research but i think thats out of the question...

Flash back to stock non gps radio rom.....un-lock with 2.4 or 2.47 (I suggest 2.47 better performance) and then upgrade the radio and then flash any custom rom you like.... |
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Thanks.... just tried and no go... still no radio... did i need to relock... it loaded the stock 2.09 rom but said no radio... already has Olipro 2.4 so i just tried to flash the radio from SD card... it takes the update but when i soft reset i still get No Radio... about to try to take it to a verizon store...

Re: No Radio... yes i searched
They'll probably detect it right away and your only option will be insurance. Are you back on the stock ROM and still stuck in bootloader?
|
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Same problem here, had to do a PRI and PRL update. Good luck.

Cerebus, After you loaded the stock what did you do next?.......did you try to flash the radio.....if not do so.... |

If you are running 2.40... flash a custom rom of your choice that is GPS compatible then flash the radio via sd card....you should have no issues doing it that way.... by the way you don't need 2.47 bootloader and I do know for a fact that 2.40 can be relocked without any adverse effects on the xv6800 if you ever need to claim insurance or warranty |
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Come on guys, how many of us had this issue with a 67 where when we booted it said NONE next to radio in red letters??
I know I seen a few phones with that and I swear I did everything there was to do. But the main issue is the device is not detecting the radio hardware which means a hardware failure. And as we all know, you cant install software for something that "doesnt exist". Face it, you need a new device. Sry. |
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
if you have the stock rom and stock bootloader on the phone, you can probably bring it into the store and have them try to fix it. if they cant you will probably get a free replacement. but if they find a non stock rom or bootloader then your sol and have to go with the insurance.

When ever I got the posters error I simply went back to the Titan relock thread and followed it step by step and the radio came back as well as the rest of functionality. I dont think the poster is following the relock thread. |
Re: No Radio... yes i searched
Well dont get me wrong. I am not saying 100% that I am right and everyone else is wrong. I am not like that but I am only going off of my findings and works. I am aware the 67 and 68 arent the same ;-) and do agree there are more options to not getting the combo (ROM/Radio/Unlocker) right and causing issues. But the OP only posted yesterday and has yet to come back with results if any so.........

Re: No Radio... yes i searched
So i talked to the insurance people and they're going to send me a new one tommorow. I still have the VZW 2.09 rom on there but i also have olipro 2.4 as the bootloader... any way to get that back to stock from my current state (no activesync)? they said if they find out that it was me that caused the damage to the phone i'll have to pay a $100 fee... anyone ever had that happen to them were they actually came back and said it was your fault for screwing with the software? Thanks for all the help through this frustrating process...
