Build 20748 Sound Problem
 

HI everyone....

I am having a strange problem with my 20748 roms... MY phone won't ring. All other sound works fine, and the ringer I'm using works when I play it as a sound. The ringer is set to on. If I am looking at the phone, the only noticable sign it is riniging is the little "on the phone" icon appears in the taskbar. No caller ID screen, nothing like that. Receiving of texts, voice mails, and notification of missed calls all work fine including their audio alerts. This problem starts before I install any additional software. I'm thinking it was some clonflict from selected rom items, but even when I strip the rom down to bareness, the same problem occurs. When I flash back to an older build, everything is fine.

Any suggestes would be great....my selection file is attached.

The iBliss Phonepad you selected is known to cause this problem. Choose another one or none at all to get the default dialer.

I think for some reason, midi files will not ring if you set it as a ring tone in this 20748 build.

I have the same problem. First rom I burnt worked fine, but the now the one I'm using. No ring tone at all. I have it set to an MP3. I'm lost. All other alerts work.

Had the same problem today. Reflashed to a previous ROM, with all the same selections, just a different dial pad, and it worked great.
