ppckitchen won't update
 

After NUMEROUS attempts the ppckitchen builder won't update any of the ROM kitchens for the Titan. The updater stops at random places so there is not a single file doing it.

I went to the ppckitchen website and the ROM folder is showing it is empty?

wondering if anyone else is getting this error / know what to do

The servers are overworked as usual. Uncheck everything but one file and do them one at a time. I've had success with continually-failing files this way.

I was having the same problem.
Tried you suggestion and keep having the same problem.
"BuildOS.exe not found."

i was having that problem and found that the way i got around it was to individually download the files. don't try to check everything to DL at once. first get the oem's, then the kitchen files, etc.

yeah do what above post says. do few at a time cuz the servers are overloaded

Tried to download manually and it appears I was still missing things.
When all else fails, uninstall and re-install. Seems to be working now.

I was able to get all the updates except for "Generic OEM files" & "Titan kitchen core"
any suggestions on how to get these 2

You may want to uninstall and reinstall everything. It doesn't delete everything but it may help.

Make that 2. I uninstalled and started over, but now I cannot login?

Yeah I have tried that twice, and I finally got the 'Generic OEM file' after another 12 attempts but I still can't get 'Titan kitchen core' to download.

How do I get this file?

This happens when you have provided invalid credentials (password wrong, name used by another). I've reset your login so you can use it again.

I signed up today and downloaded the kitchen. So far I haven't been able to update and I keep getting a Login failed for user...

I have been able to get 98% a couple of time but will not complete the download :-/

I still can not get updater to download 'Titan kitchen core'

I went to http://ppckitchen.org/Downloads/ and the 'titan kitchen core' is not listed, would really like to get this download so I can start building.

any suggestions?

Try uninstalling from Control Panel and download the installer.

I uninstalled several times now both from control panel and the uninstaller from inside builder. neither option would allow me to download the file completely.

the updater download stops at 98% every time I try it :(

Did you get it working yet? Sometimes it will look like it stopped at 98% or whatever, but it's still working and eventually will finish. Does it give you any specific error, or does it just hang at 98%?

havent read the thread in whole, but what got it working for me was to download the new buildos.msi from ppckitchen's website. its dated 9-25. it has an updated updater that will work. one of the mods posted it in a sticky.

Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same error - my login used to be "shiva1", but I tried "shiva" as well with the same effect.

I rebooted my PC and it worked, thanks for the input
