Try the Modaco forums. But as far as I know the gps still is not unlocked on the Omnia by the members there.

I also had an Omnia from VZW and last I read also it want unlocked and I REALLY didnt like thier method of cooking ROMs w/o a bootloader. But you have to remember you can download all the apps you want that will do GPS but if the hardware in your device will not let you do GPS then you are out of luck (unless someone finds a way around it)

I am presuming you are trying to use GPS on your Touch (XV6900)? Do you have a live data connection? If you do not have a data connection, perhaps Verizon has data block on your phone, then aGPS (Valhall CAB) wont work.

By the way, the leaked ROM was from phonenews.com. This was an official Verizon ROM, therefore you dont have to worry about letting customizations run. I am runnig this exact ROM and works great so far. Verizon simply has not made it "official" as of yet. When they do finally put it out there for all of us XV6900 users you can find it on

DO NOT DO STEP 3 that you just listed of what you did... meaning DO NOT reflash the titan radio 3.27. that's what STEP 1 (official sprint rom) does... the original sprint rom carries the 3.42.02 radio with it. but it you CANNOT let the customizations run on the sprint rom. that's how you get the 3.42 radio for the XV6800. if you perform the steps Exactly how i mentioned it before in my previous post you should be fine. do not include any other steps!!!

dcd 3.2.6 is only compatible with radio 3.35+ and in what you just told me you did was flash radio 3.42, then run dcd 3.2.6, then flashed back to radio 3.27 meaning you just upgraded then downgraded!

stick to the steps i listed and you'll be fine!
