Bluetooth icon Today top bar-next to EV icon
 

Is there a way to put a bluetooth icon on the Today top bar next to the EV icon? I havn't seen this on a titan before but would make a nice way to notify if BT was enabled or not. Especially with Manila 2D running, no other today plugins can also run.
It looks like some of the non touch screen devices have this, so I wonder if it is something that can be borrowed from that.

I don't know if this will work for you or not, but for what its worth...

This little app sits in the system tray and allows you to turn BT on/off/discoverable/invisible and the color of the icon indicates the mode you are in. Just tap once and you get invisible BT. Tap and hold you get a pop-up that has options for discoverable/invisible, etc... I have only been using it for a day or two, so I can't swear by it yet, but It doesn't seem to cause any problems. I have attached the file. It is freeware. Let me know if it helps.

Rename the file and drop the .zip ending. It is a CAB. Just drop it on your device and install.

Thanks for that little systray program. Its cool, but with using manila 2d, you cant use any other today plugin.
I am looking for a bluetooth icon which shows on the top bar. The same place the WIFI icon and notification envelop are.

Some of us turn off the leds to save precious drops of battery juice. I've been looking for a bluetooth status indicator for my top bar too, with no luck.

Wouldn't an LED use less power than powering up the full LCD to look for the same information that they LED can tell you in a glimpse?
