Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
Any of you guys get this to work on our phones? Opal title bar works, but does not correctly select volume, and instead pulls up battery when you hit the volume button, also opal volume control when installed, does nothing and makes volume control useless.
Anyone get these two to correctly work? |
Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
Not yet. :(

Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
Yeah it works fine on mine. But mine was made in the kitchen. I'll post my selections later. I only thing I have a problem with is the connection bubble. (One of the reg selections in the kitchen that adds a disconnect button)

Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
Try finding the cab and installing and uninstalling it for the Volume control.

Edit: upon reviewing my previous statements at home in front of my pc. I noticed I was using an older enlarged title bar. This one was extracted from the touch. BUUUT this one does work :) I apologize for being misleading in previous posts. But i highly doubt the two are very different. So again. If you want to use the new volume control. Add colonels oem from 11/18/07 from the touch. IT WORKS! |

Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
Found on XDA:
1. go to the home icon while in manila 2. click the clock (like if you wanted to fix the time and date) 3. at the bottom click the tab that says MORE 4. enable " Display the clock on the title bar in all programs" 5. click ok button 6. click on the title bar and see the correct picture open the correct item that was clicked |

Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
None of the opal cabs floating around worked for me yet on my Mogul. I did have a working version of the volume control installed with one of the older Manilla2D setups that I used, I think it was preinstalled in the cab on that version. Worked until I upgraded to a newer Manilla2D (that removed all the preinstalled cab files for the the additional software). I have not had it work since.

Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
I have a question about the volume control that has always puzzled me??
What do people use the volume control for?? I have always left mine at full volume & then controlled the volume of whatever I was using after the fact. I did a regedit so the phone earpiece always starts at full volume, if it's too loud (& with the GC audiopara it certainly is at times) I just turn it down with the scroll wheel. If I am using my S9 stereo BT headset, I control the volume with the headset controls. When the phone is docked in my car & hooked to my stereo, same thing I just use the stereo volume control. I can't see any situation where I would even care if the VC worked as long as the scroll wheel is still working?? ~John |

Re: Opal title bar/Opal volume control?
I am also trying to get the Opal Volume control to work in my Titan.
The Opal Large Title Bar works well but the volume function doesn't even show up. I have searched a lot but I have not found any solutions... |
