Can't flash new rom!
 

Back in Juky I flashed to the "new" Htc rom with sprint tv included, and after that my active sync was no longer working, it was working before that just fine and now I want to flash a new rom but don't have the connection to active sync to get the damn thing running. thus my question is: Is there a way to flash a new rom via sd card I've tried to do this several times but have always had some b.s. error come up. Can anyone help me flashing or getting active sync to work. Ive tried unchecking and checking everything tried diff cables, usb ports. diff comp. still nothing I have read on the isext.dd thing but got thrown off on that. Sorry for the long post.

Will do checking it out right now....I looked at your thread and a great one it is but I cant complete step two b/c I cant get an active connection to my computer.

This almost same exact thing happened to me.

I just ended up flashing an official rom and brought it to sprint for a replacement. Guy didnt even know what active sync was but replaced my phone. lol

Your pc just says unknown device right?
Same thing.

Thinking about it after the fact I believe it is missing RNDIS ?? something. You could try and flash via the sd card. Its really easy.

1. Install nueSPL 2.47
2. Extract ruu_signed.nbh from the Exe file downloaded from htc site with winRAR.
3. Format (deletes everything) your microSD card to FAT32. Thats very imortant. By default your pc will format it as FAT file storage system. So make sure you change that.
4. Copy ruu_signed.nbh to sd card and rename it to titaimg.nbh
5. Put sd card back into phone.
6. Enter into bootloader (camera+power+reset)

nueSPL will do the rest just follow the prompts.


If you got insurance just bring it in. Just relock first with no2chems relocker on the same page as nueSPL
