BuildOS.exe Corrupted?
 

I am trying to flash my phone and I needed to install BuildOS freshly.

When I download the buildos from ppckitchen.org it tells me the in teh dos prompt when I run it "Program is too big to fit into memory" WTF?

I searched the internets for 2 days now and nothing came up.

I attempted installing buildos on two different computers (one with vista one with Xp) and got the same error message.

I need some assistance here guys I can't take the stock sprint mogul much longer.

It sounds like you got a corrupted BuildOS.msi. Try to download again from http://ppckitchen.org/Downloads/. It's dated Sept. 19 and is 30MB.

You don't run it from a DOS prompt. BuildOS.msi is a Windows Installer package that must be run from inside Windows. If you are more comfortable at the command prompt, you can start it in windows by typing "start" and a space before the file name, and Windows will open it instead of DOS.

When I double click the buildos.exe that is on my desktop, a window flashes for a second that is like the dos box and it says "program is too big to fit into memory"

So what I had to do is save as all applications and add .msi to the end of the filename. It changed the icon to an installer one when previously it was a generic window icon

just renaming it to .msi worked for me.
Not sure why opera saved it as buildOS.exe
