Kitchen String to Date Issue
 

Hey Guys,

I am getting an error when trying to build the new NueRom3 Pre2 in the new kitchen (I think it was released today). I received the following errors for all Option.xml files:


Kitchens\NueRom3pre2\noe2chem_SYS\IRDA\Option.xml
"Conversion of string "5/31/2008" to type 'Date' is not valid.


I even tried just the regular Titan Kitchen 3.35 and it threw the same date conversion errors on a bunch of the Option.xml files.

Anyone else tried the new kitchen and got it to work?

i get it as well but everything seems to work fine after the error

Yes, but now all the dates are not present in each of the OEM's. It also errors if try and re-open the selection.txt. SO basically, anytime you make a new ROM, it is going to give you these errors.

Anyone have a fix?

there was an update for the titan kitchen today. have you tried after that update? I saw no errors with my build(s)

Yep, I did the update. I also completely uninstalled and then re-installed BuildOS/perfromed the update and received the same issues. What version of .net are you running?

on the ppc=.NET CF3.5 RTM.
on my computer.. not sure, but recently ran the XP sp3 update.

I updated to sp3 just in the hopes that it would resolve this, but it did not. I literally have to the OK button for hundreds of OEMs every time I open the kitchen. It is driving me crazy.

Anyone have a fix?

ok i went ahead a cooked another rom yesterday and i noticed that i had a new file in my programs menu. the only ting i did with the new ROM was added the transcriber and changed the dialer skin. i am not sure if the date issue is creating or maybe something i have done

I seen this same error message with the nueRom3 pre2 kitchen base.

That base and rom have an issue with sleep of death.

There was an update nueRom3 6152 pre3 that addresses that issue.

Point of my story was that when I built a rom with the new base I didnt get the date error or alot of the duplicate OEM error messages.

Just download the newer base and it should resolve your problem.
