please help... I flashed the Verizon rom from the ftp site because the one here kept saying that it was corrupt. So far, I love it! only one problem, my Vito Audio Notes no longer records phone calls. please help...

The one here is not corrupt, you have to unzip it.

GaMedic,

Wondered if you could check the Verizon zip file. It's giving errors from both the FTP site and the hosted site. I've tried to un-zip on two different computers using WinZip v12 and WinXP's native extractor.

WinZip is giving the following error "End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a Zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part Zip file."

I can un-zip some of the other carrier files. Just the Verizon file seems to have a problem.

I zipped the files using 7 zip. I have seen numerous reports of not being able to unzip with winzip but success unzipping with 7zip. Try 7zip and see if it works for you.

I updated the first post cocerning Winzip not working to unzip these files.
