before i am attacked about looking first before posting.
I cant seem to find a cab. for windows mobile 6.1 for the mogul.
Can somone please help

This is why you need to read the stickied FAQs before posting. There's a lot of assumptions you're making.

There is no CAB for Windows Mobile 6.1. Windows Mobile 6.1 is the operating system itself. It can't be installed onto Windows Mobile 6, it has to replace it. It's the entire ROM. The system has to be completely wiped and replaced with the new OS. The stickies have links to the official WM6.1 ROMs for the carriers that have released them, and instructions on how to use custom ROMs for those as well as the carriers that don't have official ones. Please check out the stickies then ask questions that arise from that.

Unfortunately the sticky doesn't word it especially well, but here's the link: http://www.htc.com/us/supportdownloa..._id=75&cat=all

That'll take you to the RUU that will upgrade your phone. Remember, this will wipe ALL of your data in the process, so ensure it's synced or backed up in some other way first.

ok thank you can i just download it threw my mogul or do i have to activesync it for it to work.
I backed everything up into spb backup.
My activesync is not working so the sprint store is ordering me a new mogul.
or do u think i should i wait till i get the new mogul.
what u think?
is 6.1 that big of a deal

It has to be installed from the computer, as you'll be overwriting everything on the phone.

If you're concerned about the process, you might just wait for the new one. I personally think 6.1 was a great and big deal update, but if you're managing with your phone the way it is, maybe don't stress until the new one arrives.
