Just got a refurb from sprint...
 

sorry for the n00b question but I haven't been on here in a while...

I noticed when I booted it up the ROM version is now 3.35.651.2 and the radio is 3.35.04

my old phone must have been WAY behind the times because i'm pretty sure both the ROM and radio versions started with a 1 (radio 1.47 i think)

what's changed?

for titan 3.42.40 is the best or 3.42.50 but that is ported from the vogue and the newest rom is 3.49

3.56 is the latest official Mogul ROM from Sprint, not 3.49.

That's funny... I have 3.42.50 Radio, and my ROM is 3.56.

Regarding the OP's question about the difference in the radio and the rom is mostly GPS capability that the phones should have supported in the first place. Your older phone had older software... It's nice to know they're at least shipping them the way they should have been shipped in the first place.

Also, could you please explain why the 3.42.40 Radio is better than 3.42.50? I've never tried the 3.42.40 Radio for the Titan, and so far, out of all the rest, 3.42.50 has worked the best with Phone, Internet, GPS, and Text for me.

I guess a few people had or thought they had some issues with the .50 radio (pulled from a Touch ROM) and don't think they have them with the .40 radio (pulled from a Titan ROM). I haven't tested either enough to say if that's true.
