XV6800 Titan gps not working with PRI 1.35_002 after ROM/Radio upgrade

ROM version 3.49.NO2.5066
PRI version:1.35_002
PRL version:51056
Hardware version 0003
Radio version 3.42.40.
I tried 3.42.50 and it did not work either.



I have location on. I tried going back and forth with 911 to location on. I can only get GPS to work on Google maps sort of accurately when i do a search for an address and calculate a rout to that address, then it starts working. No other app is working. GPS lock is not that great (a street off sometimes) and it stops when you close the app.
For those with the new PRI, try this to get some sort of GPS action, it may work.

Is there a driver or an app i can use to get a lock. I would prefer not to reflash the ROM again.

Data and voice are working.

i think the verizon rom crippled GPS. so if you want gps, prob gotta flash to something else

use rom 3.42.40

3.42.40 is a Radio and not a ROM

that seems to work better for mine.

LOL. I use .50 also and it works well for me as well.

i tried 3.42.50 before and that didn't work.
I'm using my microsd card to load the radio files with chem boot loader 2.47
I just want to know if my PRI is messed up by verizon or if i can fix it another way.

Did anyone with the new messed up verizon PRI get google maps to acquire gps coordinates using my method?

I completed the TitanGPSFix successfully.
I still can not get a fix. I wait 15 minutes for a fix. I tried different programs to activate the GPS chip.
location is on.
Any other ideas?
