I wanna get a rom for my phone 1st ? What all do I need to install it? What is the best rom? And my last question I did install the the big digtial clock and I took the program out but the clock is still there. What is the best way to get it out? Sorry I'm a noob to these phone

here check this out its by GA. Medic. its a easy to understand step by step to make your own rom, and it shows how to get everything you need(links). and what carrier you have can help ppl here. and most likly you might wanna find an offical release if you arnt technologially gifted.

Thanks for the plug. I was checking out you signature. What is that radio version you have listed there. 3.37.20? Where did that number come from? Do you have 3.42.30? Just thought I would crack on you a little. LOL

n i use to have the first update from alltel the was the 3.35 and the 3.37.20 radio nd just put a custom rom on it.

I tried to get the kitchen rom and I couldn't get it to install right. I know I'm a dumb A** with these phones and I've been getting mad alot and I sprint is my provider

o ok thats your problem. go to the link in post number 2 and scroll donw and you'll find it. read that whole thread and it will show wat all you'll need. *read the whole thing!! before doing anything to your phone!!!!*

this is why you dont do anything untill you read the whole thread. now u need to build a customrom to flash onto your phone.

I got the sync to work but now I'm stuck on a boot screen for olipro I did read thought I had it

ok if it will sync then ur good. build your rom the way u want it. i use the 5054 6.1, but everyones different. then choose build rom(the greenish start button) and have your phone hooked up to the pc while its doin this. then it will ask u if u want to upgrade and what not say yes. then it will go back into bootloader mode and start to updat ur phone. what is ur stock rom? and what radio? and who is ur provider?

I couldn't figure out how to get the rom in and and my phone was stuck on the rainbow screen and couldn't get it to change back so I took my phone back to the sprint store and got me another mogul and scared to mess it up now so all did did now was get the new update for the sprint tv and such

for future reference... if after a soft reset you still have the tri-color screen... there is a file something like titan_exitbl.exe that will send the command to exit the bootloader. To disable activesync... Go to File... Connection Settings.. and uncheck the Allow USB connections. You can also uncheck Allow Connections to one of the following. This will allow the titan_exitbl.exe to work.

gotcha. I haven't had an issue getting that working right. The other option would be to uninstall Activesync..... then try.... then re-install it.

now when it went to the rainbow screen I couldn't do anything I tried to reinstall the oem it came with and couldn't get that to take either I would love to put a differnet rom in

if you fallow that tut to the period you shouldnt have any problems. but you have to have atleast a 3.35 radio rom.

If he has that radio it should be unlocked right> Tell us what you have done so far so we know what to tell you to do next. You need to be a bit more descriptive with your questions.

You need to read my tutorial. It is a step by step walk through of how to flash and how to build your own custom ROM. As far as "the best rom out there", it is stricly personal preferance. Once you get you phone unlocked and flash the first time you can try them all and pick your favorite. After the unlock and radio flash is done the rest (loading a custom ROM) is easy. You don't have to repeat the unlock and radio so the hard part is done. Just flash the ROM, if you don't like it flash another. The link for the tutorial is in my signature.

If you have not ran the unlocker then you do not have the right radio, unless your on sprint an ran their most recent update. Who is your carrier?
Reset you phone and post the writing from the lower right corner here.
Also, press power, camera and reset all at the same time for about 2 seconds. Your phone should show a tri-coloered screen if you do it correctly. Post the information from that screen as well.

By the way calling yourself stupid doesn't get you help faster. Sometimes it makes it more difficult to get help. A simple statement like, "I am having trouble understanding this" works just fine.
