im looking for the post if there is one on how to upgrade my radio rom from a nbh file using my usb connection and my computer cuz i dont have any non hc sd card. im tring to upgrade to .50

Here is what worked for me.
Run this file -> ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Im...rd-SPL-MFG.exe)
then this file -> http://rapidshare.com/files/13767267...42.40.zip.html
then grab a custom rom, like nochem or DCD.

between step one and two go into the folder where hard spl is and rename the Hard_MFG_SPL_2.40_RUU_signed.nbh to .old
then in step 2 put the TITAIMG.nbh in that same folder.
Click ROMUPdateutility.exe and follow the steps.

he's just trying to flash a radio, not a whole new rom. only way i know of is by sd card. cuz i believe if you do by activesync, it'll flash your entire phone. what happened to the sd card that came with the phone?

A lot of carriers do not give a card with the phone. The only way to flash this radio without a hard reset being involved it to do it with an SD card. They are very cheap on ebay. I picked mine up for less than $10 and shipping was free. Takes a bout 3-4 days to get to you.

i didn't know that not everyone carried it but you're right. they aren't too hard to find and aren't that expensive anymore

Before you start....if your phone is un-locked already you will need to revert back to Hardspl 1.2....use the link below for it.....after flashing do not forget to flash back to 2.4 or 2.47 un-locker.....

I attached the RUU...just extract the file and place it in the RUU and enter Boot Loader.......then run the Rom Update Utility also inside of the RUU attached....

Remember though as GaMedic stated, this will hard reset your phone.....if you flash it from SD = no hard reset to the phone...

FYI....the second link is for radio 3.42.40....the OP wants to flash to .50...

Nice find flyers. Once I read that I was like duh. That should have been obvius to me, flash it with a RUU. I still say buy you and SD card if you flash ROMs. So much more simple.

I use the RUU for flashing quite a bit.....but I also use SD....just depends how I feel at the moment....lol:mrgreen:....but for this particular flash I also recommend the SD.....much simpler as you said and no hard reset....:headbang:
