Heeey guys i need your help...i've had a 6700 for 2 and a half years and i finally got a 6800...i tried updating the rom, chose my settings and it all worked fine till it got to the htc screen and it said no radio at the bottom.. so i went a head and set the phone on bootloader mode found a radio and installed it (3.27.00)..the installation finished and now my phone wont turn on at all!! i tried hard reseting it and soft reseting it even putting it on bootloader mode and nothing...the screen is black and the only light that turns on is the red light when i plug in the charger but nothing else does.... is my phone bricked? pleaaaaase tell me theres a solution for this!! :'[ i tried searching for this problem and i cant find nothing about it? i would really appreciate if someone could help me!

try flashing a stock rom. and take out your battery and do a hard reset to make sure it goes through. it's very hard to brick a mogul.

thanks for replying... i tried everything and nothing works... i cant reflash it because the phone wont even turn on at all... like i said i cant even get it on bootloader mode...
how exacly can i do a hard reset?? i tried the two soft button and reset button and nothing... any sugestions???

i know this might sound stupid but your battery might be dead, try a different battery

u guys think so?? like i said my battery was full when i did this... unless it fried or something?
even if its the battery that still very weird, have you guys heard of this happening before? its a brand new battery

this sucks.. i think i am the first to brick this phone... i tried my friends battery adn it still wont turn on..
im sure what did it was just trying different roms...even though it stopped working right after it finished installing the 3.27.00 radio.. i just found out that i was supposed to follow a certain procedure not just get a rom then a radio etc... i still have a little hope there has to be someone out there that knows how to fix this...it just feels like its fixable after having the 6700 for almost 3 years and never being able to brick it and there being a fix for everything.

better to read and ask questions first than to think you know and do and bang head against wall later... i found this out the hard way myself. luckily my phone was fixable... i did the opposite as you, i loaded a radio first and it wouldn't get past the first splash screen. then i couldn't figure out how to get it into boot loader so i could flash a rom to it. but finally got it figured out. but yours seems its a bit more... gone.

does sound like a battery though...

that red led light comes on when a charger is connected and the power on the phone is too low to turn on yet. Has happened a few times to me...like when my phone completely dies at work then when I get home I plug it in(red led comes on) then after about 1-2 minutes of charging I can turn it on.

Since you tried your friends battery and it does the same thing...Double check your battery connections on the phone itself. Make sure they are still spring loaded and not bent..Also clean them with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.

Though it would be really weird for this to happen at the same time but Ive seen weirder stuff working on cars...
