Got WM6.1, Got GPS, need wifi help & mms help!
 

6 months ago I upgraded to WM6.1 (dcd2.3.2) , Radio V 3.27.00. My wireless (n) router is invisible to my phone, sometimes it wil sense the network "available" but won't connect. I just gave up...just wondering if there is a fix and if i should update again.
Also... whats a good, simple, easy navagation program that will run on the 6800?

Mogul's WiFi card is b/g only.

As for navigation options, there are tons. Depends mainly on personal preference and how much money you want to spend. Google Maps or Live Search will get you by, but if you want a real nav program you'll need something like iGuidance, TomTom, etc. Personally, I'm using iGO8.

I tried igo, its a memory hog.... I usually have around 15-20 mb of program memory to work with, but it looks great. It just locks when memory becomes an issue.
I switched the router to b&g and still nothing...the newer routers have something called WAMO or MOMO, I can't remember but I think thats what i have to overcome.
Any suggestions on MMS? Thanks so much for the help....

Ya, iGO is definetly a memory hog. Add in TTS voices and you need quite a bit of free RAM. Are you using TTS voices? If so, trying it without can make a big difference.

Not sure about you're router issue. Looks like you've got some research to do ;)

For MMS, what carrier are you with? Sprint isn't currently supporting MMS on our devices, so you would have to use one of the workaround programs. sMMS is probably the best, most complete solution out there for Sprint users.
