Stock WM6.1 ROM, Mogul stops responding to keypresses
I recently upgraded to the latest stock Sprint ROM on HTC's website and am running into a problem I can't find a solution to. Everything seems to work fine, but after a while the phone will stop responding to keypresses altogether. After the screen turns off from being idle, I can't get it to turn on using the power button. This has happened with the screen on as well, and no other buttons seem to work. My only solution is to soft reset, but I can't be constantly soft resetting my phone to make sure I don't miss calls or anything, and I'd rather not go back to the old ROM. Anyone know what's up?

Re: Stock WM6.1 ROM, Mogul stops responding to keypresses
I had an Alltel 6800 do the same thing, but I had a stock ROM. All the buttons stopped working, but the phone otherwise worked. The camera would also come on randomly. I reflashed the stock ROM, and it continued to happen. It was still under warranty, so Alltel sent me a new one. Ironically, while I was waiting for the replacement to arrive, the problems went away.

Re: Stock WM6.1 ROM, Mogul stops responding to keypresses
I am having the exact same problem. After three days it started to get worse. Now it will cut out during a call and soft reboot every once in a while. When the screen goes blank like you discribed, I had to hit the soft reboot button twice to get it to reboot.
I called tech support for Sprint, and they are sending me a replacement phone that is coming Wednesday. I assume it is a hardware problem interfacing with the new update in a not so nice way. I searched all the different forums and have not seen any solutions. :( I will keep hope for someone to tell us what exactly is going on... |

I'd say reinstall the update, and go from there...
