ALT key issues

I have a mogul from sprint running rom 3.56.651 dated 6/16/2008 radio version 3.42.02. My alt key doesn't always work. it seemed to start becoming an issue sometime after the latest flash, although i do on occasion drop my phone (while in the stock htc case though and never dropped it outside of the case). Any ideas?

I've never dropped my phone and I have the same problem with the Fn key (I'm assuming this is what you are calling the Alt key). I am on the latest stock ROM. It makes it really difficult to text contractions like I'm and We're when the keyboard keeps wanting to put a 'z' in the middle.

same here, izm positive it has something to do with the new rom. though i like the new radio these 6.1 issues are starting to get annoying.

I assume you mean the Fn key? I've not had this problem. Biggest problem I have is that my Fn or Caps keys will frequently go into lock mode even though I pressed them only once. That gets annoying.

Re: ALT key issues

I've been having issues where I need to press my q, r, y, p and blue dot buttons harder in order for them to work. Today I took it in to a sprint repair center to get it checked out and they tell me they can't cover me under warrenty because there appears to be water damage. I have never dropped my phone in any water. The guy told me that even sweat can cause this. No this sucks cuz I live in south texas where its usually 100+ and I carry my phone in my pocket. There are times where my screen gets condensation from being in my pocket.

Do any of you think this might be an issue for your key problems?
