how to get GPS to work?

I have looked for the answer but I'm not sure I'm understanding what I've read. Is it possible to install a custom rom to get GPS working on my US CELLULAR HTC Titan / Mogul / PPC-6800? Or do I have to wait until they release one?:disgust:
