wow... some mod is a genius and brought our two worlds together lol ;)

note on radio... seems really good to me so far... def no PROBLEMS but I'm yet to determine if there are any gains over previous radios. seems to me every time a new radio is released everyone is like "OMG I GET SUCH AWESOME GPS NOW!" but I think that's moreso placebo... :P

Agreed....we will see i am flashing a new (testing)ROM and radio....although .20 (the one before .30 whatever version #that was}](*,) seemed to get quicker locks for me....I just cannot see this one being any quicker than that....but who knows.

Thanks for the find, just got back from outta town and was using the GPS. Had some problems with it wanting to lock in. After flashing, it locked in in my house on the first try after about 3 mins. Never locked in that quick. I will run some more test, hopefully its better. It would take over 10mins outdoors at times when I was outta town. That flat out sucks...Looked like a freakin idiot with my arm out the window, phone in hand, just sittin there in the parking lot for 10 mins.

UPDATE:
After having this radio ROM for almost 24hrs and playing around with GPS, I can say that so far, there is most definitely an improvement for me. I can lock in the house all day long whenever I want. I took it for a ride in the car. Locked in while MOVING in under 4 mins, where before it could take 10-30. I've soft-reset, pulled battery, forced into powersave and forced cold start (dumps all ephemeris data) and I still get locks every time in under 5 mins. Will update again if anything changes.

GPS lock about the same i think i'll go back perhaps it takes a second longer now

I am getting locks in about 1/3 to 1/2 the time with the new radio compared to 3.42.30. I have never been the "OMG, I get instant locks" person, but I was very happy with .30 and even moreso with .50. BTW, I don't use any additional software-just TT6.
