Stuck on 11%... help please!!!
 

I have a xv6800 and im trying to update the rom to the sprint rom for gps use and when i am uploading it, it seems like it cant go any further than 11% and it gives me an error message.
What can be wrong....?

welcome to the site. I'm not sure what instructions you read, but a good thing to do with any rom flash is pull the battery, and hard-reset.

Shaggy that wont work bro he is not getting past 11%......you need to make sure the phone is un-locked...if it is try flashing from SD card...

Have you checked to make sure the phone is un-locked....simultaneously press power, camera and soft reset...it will bring up the tri-color screen....hence BL= Bootloader

ok the radio is upgraded to 3.42 and i got a dcd rom version 3.2.5 but the spl is still at 1.20



the phone turns on and gets to the start screen but resets itself in about 5 seconds.....

Ok that is your problem then...u need to start flashing stock roms until you get out of it.....then use the un-locker in my signature below,,,keep flashing until you get one that works......you may have to try flashing fom SDcard also....

this happened to me and iflashed a new rom then it needed a new radio and then it needed bootloader 2.40 i redid the whole device

I was working with batigol61 last night trying to fix his phone. We were both hesitant to use the nueSPL relocker because it specifically says DONT USE WITH NON-GPS roms, and we had the stock verizon rom which of course isnt GPS. But nothing else worked so we tried it anyways. It would go to the tri-color screen but it wouldn't reboot automatically, we waited several minutes.

The only way we could upgrade the radio and/or rom was to do it individually using the RUU and a RUU_signed.nbh file. First we upgraded to radio 3.42 (successful) and then to the DCD rom (successful). We then continued to the windows mobile setup screen and got all the way to the home screen. And then from there it just kept resetting, it would get to the homescreen and then in 5 seconds reset! So we cooked up a rom and flashed that, samething, endless reseting. So then we tried upgrading to a stock sprint rom and it was unsuccessfully, stuck at 11%. So im currently at the stock verizon.

PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU!!!!


EDIT: The spring rom 3.56 (rom only, no radio) DOES NOT install successfully, it stop around 59%. however the dcd 3.2.5 DOES but that causes the phone to reset every 5 seconds!!!
