these are oem's, you can put them in your user_oem in the ppckitchen, and cook them into your rom

has anyone had problems with going back to the keyboard and then clicking back to call staus and lokcing the phone. this happens to me everytime and the call ends within a minutye of me doing this

alot of dialer skins do this.. Problem is that the dialer is made for a GSM phone not a CDMA phone. Everything works fine except for that, wont dial 911, and cannot redial by using the hardkey.


hey dan if your gonna make alot of skins you might want to look into skinning a different dialer. That enables these features. If interested I could point in the right direction.

I'm always up for suggestions, this was listed as a cdma dialer though
and I have no problems with send to redial. have not tried 911, but that has to do with dialparser settings, which most dialers break because people import too much reg, but knowing this is a problem, I left the cdma dialparser intact, so all dialing rules should work i.e. 911 and ## codes yadda yadda. one thing I do know will be broken though, are the greying data arrows, which, is due to the fact that although this was listed as a cdma dialer, I don't think it is

ah, took me a while to figure out what you meant, but I was able to figure out what you meant. this is not good behavior, and think I will look into some other form of big button dialer. currently have not found one that works well.

ok, I found another big button dialer, but it has not the ability to show button presses. but it seems to work, as far as I can tell. does anyone care about buttons changing when pressed? or what's the deal?

well, this one lacks functionality, but easy as hell to skin, and seems to work. there was a claim that it would not break data arrows, but my test phone has no data. I will continue testing, just want to get thoughts on weather or not this one is functonal enough

edit: tested on my main phone, and I was quite suprised, working codes, data arrows, and a battery meter on the in call screen. no send button, but we all have hardware buttons for that

edit: ok, more testing, swaping hide and show keypad while in call produced no errors, I am actually really liking this dialer. it's easy to skin, and having all the features working properly is a definite bonus

ive been using the xp big buton and it works great but when i have to type a phone nummber in it makes suggestions and blocks the 1 and 2 keys so i cant push either buttons . anyone else have this problem

Ok, I know you said its a work in progress, but I was wandering if you're having problem putting the call button in the middle instead of the end button or am I suppose to change something? When my husband tries to dial a number and press the button, it just beeps and he has to use the main call button on the phone. Your other skins worked great on my phone. Thanks in advance for all your wonderful work. Sorry if I overlooked something and missed the answer to my question. If I did, could you refer me to the link I need to see.
By the way, it's the big-button-a** one.
