Just because it worked for you doesn't make it a great idea, but i'm glad you don't have a brick like me from doing this

I understand that....just sharing the info. I know for a fact xv6800's will downgrade without problems. Why wouldn't I want to share this? It would be no different than you sharing the fact that the downgrade bricked your mogul.

The devices are 100% identical internally, nothing makes your xv6800 immune from bricking in the same manner.

Agreed...... All I'm trying to say is we're doing it now and not just on occasion. So maybe it's the new radios. Maybe it's the sequence in which we do it. Maybe it's just pure dumb luck but I don't put much levity in that one.
