Yes !!! In 5067 it was originally an option, but after an upgrade on the kitchen files it became a requirement... in other words, you couldn't leave it out :D what flyers2114 said is 100% correct. and just a heads up, if its a stock application and its not listed in the kitchen, that generally means it's build it (no option to remove) for example - internet connection sharing !!! for the life of me, i cant recall why it wasn't option, but who cares i use internet connection sharing all the time !!!! Flash the night away !!!! :D

only each time select fewer OEMs to include, or even better start w/ none selected and work backwards (selecting more and more each time) - if its' not booting up due to the size of the rom, then when you create a clean (no selection) ROM it will boot, and once you have selected too many items then it will not. While it may be time consuming, it will produce the answer you seek. that is, is this ROM too big? unless i misunderstood, in which case... disregard this :D

Hmmmm.... anyone know what the ROM size limit is for the 6800 with 2.40 Olipro bootloader?
Instead of the hit/miss method, I could just calculate my ROM size.

(Though I'd swear when I flashed this from home this weekend, I was using smaller ROMS just to try to get the darn thing to boot). I guess this is where thr 6700 is just a little bit easier to mod.

---------------------------

Meanwhile, between the finikiness of the 6800, and the fact that my fricking ActiveSync won't see my phone unless I reboot (each time I disconnect), I"m getting pissed. ARG!!!!! Can't this be easier to hack, like my customer's networks.

---------------------------
Update:
The good news, I downgraded again back to the default, etc...., and at least the phone is working again.
I'll re-upgrade again later.

Freezing At Splash!!!!

Ok, what gives. I'm still freezing.
This is what I've done so far:

Friday:
a) Friday: unlocked and installed Sprint Radio (3.35 for GPS)
b) Flashed ROM (forgot what base build)
c) Enjoyed functioning phone (with GPS enabled and working).

Saturday/Sunday:
a) Re-flashed new ROM to install more apps.
b) in-advertantly let some Sprint customizations reinstall
c) reverted phone back to Verizon default (as per thread instructions)
i) Ran re-locker
ii) installed stock Verizon ROM (and allowed Verizon customization to install and run)

At this point the phone is back to funtioning as normal like the day it came out of the box.

Monday:
a) re-ran the upgrade procedure as per the thread
i) ran Olipro 2.4
ii) ran Sprint radio (3.35, as I don't have a SD card yet for 3.42)
(I'm praying someone will tell me this will be resolved once I try 3.42).
iii) reflashed with ROM from BUILDOS Kitchen.
b) no matter what, phone won't boot past 2nd splash screen
i ) tried removing battery, letting sit for 10 minutes and then hard-reset

Current phone settings:
a) Bootloader screen:
TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9

b) When booting as normal:
M 09
B 03
P ACAAAAM-4070
R 1.30.60
D 3.49

What REALLY gets me frustrated is that I KNOW I had it working great Friday.
UHG!!!!!

HELP!!!!

Good catch. In my haste, I kept seeing the "D 3.49" and thinking that was the radio.
Hmmmm..... weird, because I ran the Sprint radio (3.35) which 'should" have upgraded it. (Ran it a few times, actually). I may wait until later today when my SD cards arrive. Then I'll try to install the 3.42 via the SD installation.

Gervy you could take the 3.42.40 radio and drop it in an RUU and flash that way. Just name the file RUU_Signed .nbh ( I think).
