Total Newb....have some questions
 

Okay...I have an Alltel Mogul (or whatever they officially call it)

I would like to have it more "user friendly"

1) Larger buttons on today screen to navigate w/easier
2) Weather on today screen
3) Large clock on today screen
4) Larger buttons on the phone dialer (making it easier to dial with fingers)
5) GPS


I am thinking the Ultimate Launcher will give me what I am looking for. Just want a couple opinions on the mods I should use.

Can a weather option be added to use with Ultimate Launcher?

Basically, I am just wanting to be able to use the device more with my fingers than with the stylus.

I was also thinking maybe the Iphone mod would work, but don't know what one is more user friendly (UL or Iphone) or what Iphone mod to use as I have seen several diff ones.

Any opinions would be appreciated. Oh....and before saying...read / search...I have read so much I don't know where to start.

I use ultimate Launcher and I love it. Have not tested Throttle Launcher. I use Weather panel. My setup is :
Page1: HTC HOME, Battery status, GPS Toggle
2. Today Agenda
3. GPS Applications
4. Tools applications Calculator, file explorer, task manager, clear tep, etc
5. Media Players, mp3 trimmer
6. Communicatios - Wifirouter, internet sharing, commanager, active sync, ICS control

Yes I love it.....you can do a ton of different customizations to it.....in the link there is a forum also dedicated to it help you customize.....:mrgreen:

Here are a couple of dialers that will make it easier to dial with your fingers..

Touch Dialer (cant remember if this supports smart dial or not havent used it in a while)

For the GPS your gonna have to upgrade the rom\radio.. There are several threads on this.. Not sure of any particular thread that would help since your on alltel. Maybe check out dcd's roms since they have carrier cabs that you install after rom update.
