so quickmenu is built into this ROM? I see that from the images above... unless this some special installation, quickmenu always launches from the windows\startup folder... ideally, you could just delete that shortcut... unless, of course, it is being launched in a different way on this ROM.

Again, quickmenu can never be disabled if you don't want it to run. You have to exit out of it every time that you soft reset.

k look i got it to go away first exit from quick menu like i said then go to start/programs/file explorer/my device/windows/start up/ and delete the quick menu from in there now soft reset and i bet you wont get it to pop out again

Again, that doesn't work. Please read next time.

My last option would be to exit the program and then delete as much of it as I can from the \windows folder. The problem is that it's cooked into the ROM. It always comes back when you push on the Windows logo, whether you disable it or not after a soft reset. Looks like I'll have to live with quickmenu if I dedice to keep this ROM. Given the top bar bug with HTC Task Manager, maybe quickmenu isn't a bad option.

quick menu > htc task manager

quite-possibly the most useful program ive ever installed on my device.

i was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem as me and if there was a fix......

i use dcinobar to hide my bottom bar and when it executes on startup it works fine until you open up an app,......ie...if you open the phone app after you close it you still see the bottom bar of the phone app....ie......you see hide keypad and menu in the bottom bar.....

any app i open it seems like the today screen dont redraw the bottom bar at all......also all of nuechems new preview roms have had the same prob.......

It wasn't ROM related, I did have to turn SSL off though, which I don't think I usually do. I like this ROM. Mighty peppy. I don't like whatever the heck is going on with the dialer screen showing numbers right in the middle. I think that is annoying.
