Do i need to flash my bootloader?
So heres the deal:
Got my phone, ran olipro 2.40, loaded dcd's rom. had a bit of a hard time cuz after olipro tells u to manually take out the usb and put it back in, active sync wudnt recognize it. anyway i sed wat the hay and it flashed without active sync being connected. lomg story short, i didnt like dcd's rom so i went back to the latest stock rom. is my phone fully stock? or wud i have to flash my bootloader to a stock one? is that even possible? thanx in advance frenz mogul...out |
Re: Do i need to flash my bootloader?
Before you tried DCDs rom did you change the radio? DCD roms 3.x.x require at least radio 3.35.
And to be stock I think you would need to run the Titan Relocker to change your BL to an earlier version |
Re: Do i need to flash my bootloader?
b4 i ran dcd's rom i had the latest sprint rom. meaning when i got the phone it was pre gps wm6 but then i flashed to wm6.1 then did olipro and then got the dcd rom.
it says in the tiatn relocker thread that if u have a gps rom u shouldnt use the relocker. To me im stumped. does that mean i cant flash my bootloader to stock? or does the whole sprint rom utility flash the rom, radio, and bootloader all at once? |
Re: Do i need to flash my bootloader?
Is there any specific reason you wanna set the bootloader back to stock?

Re: Do i need to flash my bootloader?
you kno, i wonder. I have phone insurance on my mogul, so if i bricked it wouldnt it b covered??? i mean its the same negligence of dropping it in the toilet, running it over, losing it, etc
i still wanna kno about the warranty thing too because a replacement phone cost a $50 deductible. Also has there been an instance where someone sends there phone back to sprint and something happens???? thanx in advance |
Re: Do i need to flash my bootloader?
this is just something i read on this forum..
there were 2 people that got referb phones from insurance and they had olipro on them as the bootloaders....so i think as long as it has the stock rom its ok...but dont take my word for it. |
