Re: Problem installing New Sprint ROM

Cokeman posted this in another forum and it worked for that user. You may want to try it. Has to be a 2g sd card or smaller formatted to fat32.

First take the .exe file and open it with winrar. There will be a file 3.16.....nbh extract that and rename it to TITAIMG.nbh

Next format a microSD card with FAT 32 (required most are fat16 default) and copy the file TITAIMG.nbh to the root of the sd card with a card reader.

Finally place sdcard in device and reset into bootloader mode. The flash will proceed from the SD card and it should work fine. Enjoy!

Also are you using a Vista PC? If you are you may wanna try it from an XP machine. Seems like a lot of folks have issues trying to run this from Vista.

I had the same issue on Vista, what worked for me was to not save the program, but to run it.

Re: Problem installing New Sprint ROM

hmmm I upgraded the ROM using the leaked version a couple weeks ago and an XP machine with no problems.

I tried to run the official version posted on 7/21 from a Vista machine and I received the invalid command error.

I'll try the Run instead of save method first. If that doesn't work I'll try using XP. It will have to wait until I get home. My work computer is locked down. I'll post results either way.

Wow. It worked! Whodda thunk that choosing Run instead of Save would make a difference, but it did.

HTC should post a prominent advisory that Vista users should choose Run instead of saving to disk.

Thanks.
