Cannot send MMS on Alltel after Kitchen
 

was able to send MMS via Alltel with kitchen 19588 updated to the new 20226
and now it will not send. Cooked another 5067 and others and cannot send unless I go back to stock can anyone help. Thank You.

You may want to try DCD's Carrier cab and see if that will help. You may also search for "Alltel MMS Configuration" to see if you can find the settings for Alltel. By the way that cab is from XDA so you may have to sign up there to download it.

I've never had much success with mms after upgrading to any 6.1 rom. You'll need to install Lenny's Alltel Arcsoft cab, but even with that, success is inconsistent (it's weird - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't). At this point, I'm sticking with the stock rom because reliable mms is more important to me than threaded text messaging and hopefully soon Alltel and HTC will put out their own 6.1 update.

I agree about mms but i cannot find cabs for the programs i like in the kitchens if i could i would just stick with what works. Could be awhile for allrizon to get 6.1

You have to edit the REG to get MMS to work on Alltel. You may also have to call Alltel and ask them to reset your MMS. The setting are
Server Name: AlltelMMSC
Gateway: mms.alltel.net
Port Number: 8080
Server Address: http://mms.alltel.net/servlets/mms
Connect via: Alltel Wireless
WAP: 2.0
Go in to the reg and change all of the settings for Archsoft to .net anywhere you see .com and then reboot and you should be fine.

been there done that and still nothing alltel tech has moved me to a ticket what ever that means was working on 5067 kitchen updated to newer and now will not send unless i go back to stock rom which sucks.

found out that if i connect to pc via usb while connected to internet it sends
al mms thru tmy pc connection so once again i am stumped.

I also have the same issue. When the phone boots up, I get an error that says setMMSMDN.exe cannot be opened. I looked in the .lnk file for this and it has a -alltel at the end of it. Does anyone know what this file does and where I can get one that will load? Thanks.

Fianally got it working flashed back to offical Alltel Rom sent picture messages everytime so I looked at all the files located in the windows directory and found several files which I then put into the Alltel carrier folder in the carrier rar file from the kitchen. Then rebuilt kitchen did *228 option 3 restet and quess what it worked. PM me and I will send you the files needed until I can fiqure out how to post here. I hope this helps someone.
