Wow. After reading your response...to post my registry settings... and replace my cell number with "myphonenumber", I had one of those total DUH moments!!!

I was putting "myphonenumber" in the registry...

Anyway, you know where this is going.

When I checked the server settings for mms I had different items in there...but everything was greyed out and wouldnt let me access it. Running 20270. Cant send or receive on V. My registry is a good bit different than the stuff you showed us. Where do I get the fixed cab since I loaded arcsoft 5.0 from the kitchen, since the link that GaMedic left is not working.

So, are mms classified as emails or are they text messages? Should I have a text messaging plan if I want to send an mms?

So far, I pretty much have just dedicated a google email account for use on my phone. I don't want to use my general account on my phone - too much spam and emails with graphics and stuff.

Yep, still trying to figure all of this stuff out...

Mms is text not email. You are on V so email wont be used. Just need to get mms working on your device.

Sounds like these guys have to install DCD's Verizon carrier cab.... It sets up some of the server info...... Find it here....

Oh, OK. So, in order to use mms, I would have to also pay for a text messaging plan from Verizon, then, or else get whacked for 25 cents per message, right?

Darn it, with my previous data plan, I also got the free 2000 text messages/month. Now, with the $30 data plan, they took that away. Oh, well, still saving fifteen dollars per month. I guess I could add on the five dollar text package. Still would be saving money from a few months ago...
