Bootloader problems

I'm having a lot of issues with my phone recently. I can't get activesync to see my phone, and i've tried everything. (Hard reset, deleted usb drivers, i even reformatted my pc. still no luck) I have a feeling it is the USB port or the ROM i flashed from the ppc kitchen.

So now im trying to flash a new rom from an SD card. The problem is, my camera button has been broke for about a month....So doing the whole Power + camera + reset to get into the boot loader wont work for me.

Is there any other way i can get into the boot loader so i can fix this mess?

you don't need active sync to recognize your phone to flash. on vista my phone would not sync for ages and I was able to flash using the RUU folder method.

RUU fails to see my device as well.

More than that, my device isnt found by windows at all. (There is no sound when i plug it in, and i dont think it shows up under USB devices)
I'm pretty sure the USB on my phone is totally disabled with the rom i flashed.

Do you guys have Advanced Network Functionality turned off for the USB connection? If it's on, try turning it off and then connecting. It never works for me with it on.

Settings -> Connections tab -> USB to PC

To start SD flash, without USB working and having broken buttons, all you need do is pull your battery.
