I don't know if this is an issue with the ROM update or not, but I noticed that if I am in the contacts and trying to put in a symbol in, either by keyboard or on screen keyboard, they won't take. The only ones that do show up in the phone number field are the ones on a standard dial pad, all the others show up as the letter they are on.

I had exactly the same problem. Running it off a copy saved locally I kept receiving "Error 328 - Invalid Command", "This update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your Update Utility."

Once I did a "Run" instead of saving it locally during download, it worked fine. Weird.

I just upgraded mine, I feel like a veteran now that ive done it 3 times.
anyone notice the HTC theme?
I dont think that was there before, along with the new 6.1 theme.

Threaded text is sweet, keeps everything nice n' tidy, easy to delete in mass quantity.
Installed RegEdit, VistaHide Battery Gauge (best small app ever), PPCPimBackup.

Same problem. Must be a Vista issue as I ran the update later from an XP PC and all went well.

i d/l and installed new rom went to install my htc home plug and customizer when it was finished it froze up on me then i did a soft reset and it turns on and after a couple seconds it freezes up again and thats how my phone is anyone got any advice

Use HHC to download a new version of HTC Home. Should work then.

You'll have to Hard Reset your device and install an alternative version of HTC Home from here.

Has anyone noticed the Sprint Customizations in the Extended_ROM of 3.56 run differently than in other releases? There are no CAB files for many of the Sprint functionalities for example the Sprint Voicemail Today plugin is nowhere to be found in the extended_ROM, I had to load all the customizations then dissect it out of the registry manually, what a pain in the a$$!
