WM 6.1 Threaded Text

I've been messing with my PPC for a while with different flashes, but one problem I have is whenever I use a 6.1 ROM and I disable the Threaded Text feature with the Nue Tool, my PPC no longer vibrates when I receive a text message. Is there any way to fix this or is this just a side effect of the disabling of the Threaded Text

this is a sideeffect idt there is anyway to fix it i have seen this before but no solution ever seen discussed

Does anybody happen to know how the Nue Tool works? Does it use a registry hack or some other means?
