Whats best wm 6.1 rom for Alltel Mogul?
 

I want to try a new rom, i have the stock and wondering witch rom would give me threaded txt, gps, and run more efficent.

I'm sure some alltel users can tell you which roms are available that have gps and wm 6.1 (if they exist), but the best rom that will make your phone "run more efficient", depends on the individual's needs and usage habits.

i prefer dcd runs smooth and fast check it out http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20846 just make sure you follow directions carefully and you should be good to go. if you have any Q's hit me up and ill try help you out as much as i can. good luck

I'm an Alltel man. I'm rolling with no2chem's latest 5067 rom, don't go crazy with today plug-ins or bloat it up and it runs like a dream.

Hey guys, I gotta buddy thats wanting to flash a custom ROM on his 6800(mogul), I have never messed with one much so I've not kept up with the newest Roms. Whats everyones opinion on the best and most stable Alltel ROM out there now? He's pretty interested in M2D but its not a must, I know there were alota issues with memory when trying to install it on the 6800 and I dont wanna slow it way down.

DCD's was OK. But there were bad keyboard lags for me, and I like to cook apps into my ROM. nueROM3 was OK too, but I don't like the "new" pocket IE. It is missing core WM apps too. No MS Office. I like Build 20755 from the kitchen. It runs beautiful.

I am a fan of JD's ROMs. Bare bones and add in only what is wanted.

dcd's 3.3.4. and im thinking of changing to his new 4.1.2 but the thuing is that you have to load a mms program, and if you use dcd's i found it best to install arcsoft before the settings cab.
